Shooting is a sport of concentration, self discipline and relaxation.

Anyone can participate, young (over 8years), elderly, male, female, as long as they can safely hold and operate a rifle and understand safety instructions.

The Manukau Sporting Rifle Club is an ideal introduction to shooting in a safe, controlled environment. We use Scoped .22LR rifles in a 25m indoor range that has been recently constructed on the Howick Domain in Auckland.

The .22s have negligible recoil and therefore are easy and comfortable to use.

The focus of Manukau Sporting Rifle club is on the safety and enjoyment of the sport of shooting. We maintain a family friendly environment and members range from juniors (under 18) through to senior citizens.

Our members have experience in a wide range of shooting and can offer training and advice to any who desire it.
